Infusion Brewing in Omaha, Nebraska is a two year old brewery in the heart of the revitalized Benson district. They are a perfect example of how patiently crafting good, creative beer can lead you to where you need to go as a company. On a brewing session not long after they opened, the brewers thought it would be fun to add some Madagascar Vanilla Beans to their existing Blonde Ale, and the rest is history. Omaha locals LOVE them some Vanilla Bean Blonde – the ice cream cone featured in the logo is also a well known Omaha favorite treat – and this best selling brew has single handedly propelled the brewery to the edge of expansion, which is already slated for next year.
They have a well rounded draft line-up, with standouts on our visit including (L to R above) Joel Coffee Porter, Red X IPA, Dean’s Holiday Spice and Rule 16 Rye Pale Ale.
Our awesome brewery tour guide Fish gave us lots of info, both historical, and brewing related. He’s pictured above with his personal favorite brew, the Radial IPA.
Infusion Brewing Company is good people, great brews, and a revitalized 98 year old building being put to great use. Lots to love in this young and upcoming brewery!
